| | The Politiken World Pairs 2000 will be played at Phoenix Copenhagen Hotel in Copenhagen, April 21
- 23, 2000.
The format of the tournament is as the Cap Gemini and the Macallan tournaments with 16 top class pairs playing a round robin (as in the Politiken World Pairs '95 and '97).
The five sessions (each consisting of 3 rounds of 10 boards) will be played Friday and Saturday afternoon and evening, and Sunday afternoon (15 rounds).
