You have been guided to these pages, since your browser does not understand JavaScript.

This WWW edition of the Laws does not use JavaScript - and can also be used with the text based browser Lynx.

There is another WWW edition of these Laws, but you can't use it, since your browser does not understand JavaScript.

Changes in both WWW editions of the American version of the Laws compared to the printed edition published by the ACBL:

  1. Three headings have been added - (in Law 9A2(a), in Law 12C3 and in Law 43B3). These headings are all displayed using a grey color.
  2. The Index has been amended.
Furthermore, from this info-page you have access to an "appendix", which is not part of the Laws (and which does no not appear in the printed version of the Laws):
Appendix - Special Conditions Pertaining to the Use of Bidding Boxes and Screens.
You can return to the Laws from the appendix, but not vice versa - except from this info-page.

This version of the Laws is made from the American version of the Laws (published and distributed by the American Contract Bridge League).
